Egyptian cotton is considered to be the best cotton in the world. This cotton has extra long fibers and is also very pure. With combed cotton, the yarns are combed before spinning. The fabric becomes softer and more supple, there are fewer impurities and no lint after washing.
Percale refers to the weaving technique. A fitted sheet may only be called percale if a minimum of 200 counts per inch have been processed. A percale fitted sheet is crispy, firm, cool and soft and easy to maintain.
