Duvet covers and bed linen in general with 200 counts Egyptian cotton feel softer than duvet covers with 400 counts regular cotton. The quality is therefore also higher.

Cotton percale woven is quite sturdy, will not pill quickly, stays looking nice for longer and is durable. A duvet cover in percale cotton is easy to maintain.
