The German brand Schiesser has been a well-known phenomenon since 1875. This is the year that the Swiss Jacques Schiesser set up his knitting machines in a rented ballroom to produce underwear from jersey. In Radolfzell, he and his wife started producing and selling the first Schiesser clothing, and within five years Schiesser had more than 200 employees.
