The German brand Schiesser has been a household name since 1875. This year, Swiss Jacques Schiesser installed his knitting machines in a rented ballroom to make underwear from jersey. In Radolfzell, he and his wife started manufacturing and selling the first Schiesser clothing, and within five years Schiesser had more than 200 employees. More than 135 years later, it is truly a brand that is full of knowledge, experience and a rich history. During the World Expo in Paris in 1901, not only was the Eiffel Tower built, but Schiesser clothing also received a Grand Prix for the comfortable design of their underwear. One of the main aspects soon became that underwear and nightwear should be comfortable.
