Explanation of a concept:

The 3-dimensional top layer is also referred to as 'distance knit' or 'spacer fabric'. This material, which is usually made of polyester, consists of 2 horizontal layers that are kept 'spaced' apart by many vertical threads. This allows for free air circulation and makes it suitable for people who sweat during their sleep.

Composition top layer: 100% polyamide.
