Lyocell is extracted from the growing material wood, is fully biodegradable and contains no chemical additives. The wood used comes exclusively from responsibly managed forests (FSC certification).
Treatment with special silver ions ensures even more hygiene and freshness. The naturally occurring element silver has an effective action against bacteria and micro-organisms, even at low washing temperatures. The special treatment with silver ions causes them to settle in the space between the yarns of the protector and permanently adhere to the material by means of strong attraction forces. (Efficacy is almost 100% even after 30 washes at 60°C).
