Kuperus, a Dutch manufacturer based in Almelo, has been manufacturing handmade beds and mattresses since 1905.

The box springs and mattresses are still handmade and each one is unique. The customer is truly 'king' here. Each bed can be produced according to the customer's requirements and wishes. Customisation is a concept for Kuperus!

THE MALMÖ is the second most luxurious bed in the Kuperus collection after the Alexia. The Malmö features individually upholstered spring layers, covered with layers of cotton, wool and horsehair. Because the pocket springs in the mattress are 18 cm high, you get even more comfort.  

A Kuperus bed consists of a solid pine frame with Bonnell springs, topped by barrel-shaped pocket springs (275/m²) that are individually wrapped in covers and divided into 5 different zones. The springs are covered by horsehair, cotton and pure virgin wool for optimal ventilation and moisture regulation.

This bed is available in a flat version, 2-motor or 4-motor and in fabric or leather of your choice (many colours available).

A headboard of your choice can also be added, and to complete the Kuperus bed, a top mattress made from the finest natural materials such as pure new wool, high-quality carded cotton and a core of pure horsehair, natural latex or 5 cm pocket springs can be used.
