This Dutch manufacturer and also purveyor to the royal court has been producing mattresses and steel beds in Almelo since 1905. The range was later complemented by box-spring beds. All these products are handmade from natural materials to offer consumers a pleasant and optimal night's sleep.

With ALEXIA , Kuperus introduces a bed of unprecedented luxury and phenomenal comfort. This bed, made entirely by hand with natural materials, is equipped with no fewer than four spring layers. The Alexia box spring can be designed entirely according to the customer's individual wishes. The spring layers are therefore adjusted layer by layer according to the customer's wishes. By using many layers (40), Kuperus is able to put together the ultimate Alexia bed for every customer. 

A Kuperus Alexia bed is completely crafted with natural materials and extremely durable and hard-wearing. The frames of the beds are made from wood from the High North. This wood has a stocky structure, allows for good processing and is extremely suitable for bed frames.  

The Alexia's underbox has both a Bonnell and pocket spring layer, covered with horsehair.
